What’s Love Got To Do With It?

EVERYTHING! I have been coaching my clients and myself on LOVE lately. The dictionary says love is "an intense feeling of deep affection." It's a sentiment we often associate with our personal lives, but have you ever considered its relevance in the world of business? Loving ourselves means doing what is right for us personally and our business. Don't we want to take action from a place of deep affection? Don't we want to do the best for ourselves and our business? Don't we want to focus on the good things in our daily life?

So many times as entrepreneurs, we come from a place of lack: lack of time, lack of resources, you name it. But by focusing on the lack, we limit the ideas of how to create what we want with what we have. We close down our ability to get creative and think of unique ideas to solve our problems. Love helps us to release the scarcity mindset and live from abundance.

Here is what I mean. The next time you need to make a decision in your business, ask yourself, "Am I coming from a place of fear or love?" You will know the answer right away. Fear looks like wanting to rush, not asking more questions, shutting down, and plowing through. Love looks like slowing down, asking people questions, and ensuring you have all the information before making a decision.

When we come from a place of love, we always do what is right for us, for our business, and for the long run. We are not rushed or pushed because we have taken the time to think about our options and, with our eyes wide open, make decisions that align with where we want to go.

I know some of you are thinking, "This is too touchy-feely," and you are right. We are humans; we are feeling ALL THE TIME, so taking action from a feeling of LOVE is a way to create and ensure success. Don't take my word for it; try it out.

Love has everything to do with creating a business, life, and self you're dreaming of, but only if you're willing to open up to the possibilities that this one thing could be the game changer.
